  • Project Consultation

Once you conclude DI's graphics can benefit your case, one of DI’s project managers will undertake your orientation to the animation production process. DI will answer all of your questions and concerns, help you determine the appropriate type of animation for your case, and ensure that you know what to expect during your project, start to finish. Project consultation is always free of charge. Learn more about DI's professional staff.

  • Pre-Production Planning

Following orientation, DI will schedule a conference call to discuss the specifics of your case and animation production. Participants will include one or more experts from DI, your team’s substantive expert(s), and members of your legal team. You may elect to have an in-person meeting at your location or at DI’s facility in Ames, Iowa.

  • Client Website Launch

The next phase in the production process is the launch of your exclusive client website. Your secure password-protected website has access determined solely by your legal team. This delivery approach allows for rapid interaction between your legal team and your DI project team at all times, greatly enhancing production efficiency.

  • Animation Production

Your project manager will form your DI project team from a pool of talented scientists, animators, and illustrators. Draft materials are posted to your exclusive client website throughout the project. Drafts may also be delivered to you in a variety of media, such as videotape or DVD, to accommodate the viewing capabilities of your legal team. DI does not limit the number of drafts that will be delivered during production.

  • Animation Delivery

DI can deliver finished animation in almost any format. Increasingly, computer-based media are imported into a trial presentation tool for use in the courtroom. This allows for anytime delivery of media via your project website. However, as with draft material delivery, DI will deliver the finished product in whatever media type is best suited to your viewing environment, preferences, and capabilities. • Collateral Products

For a cohesive exhibit, your DI project team can also provide you with high-resolution still images from a variety of views for use as courtroom display. Be sure to speak with your DI project manager to discuss these options in detail.
